PocketSmith Budget is a Chrome extension that displays your PocketSmith account balances and budget in a popup. This policy explains what data the extension handles and how.
The only data the extension stores is your PocketSmith developer API key, which you enter yourself on the Settings page. It is saved using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API, which keeps it on your device only.
The extension sends your API key and requests for your account, budget, and spending trend data directly from your browser to PocketSmith's API at api.pocketsmith.com. No data passes through, or is stored on, any server operated by the developer of this extension.
Once your data reaches PocketSmith's API, it is subject to PocketSmith's own privacy policy, since PocketSmith is a separate company that operates that service.
Uninstalling the extension, or clearing its storage from chrome://extensions, deletes the locally stored API key. Revoking the developer key from your PocketSmith account (Settings → Security → Developer Keys) immediately cuts off the extension's access.
